SBA has honored business personality Aziz Ahmad, CEO of UTC Associates for his extraordinary contribution in the field of business and financial sector for more than two decades in the USA. Mr. Ahmad was inducted into the highly coveted SBA Emerging Leaders program in 2015.

This auspicious event took place on February 12, 2016 at the NASDAQ MarketSite located at 4 Times Square in New York, where over 50 entrepreneurs were present, including members of the NASDAQ and SBA leadership teams, as well as chamber and business leaders.

Ringing The Closing Bell at the NASDAQ is very special, where stocks of over 2,300 U.S. companies and over 275 foreign companies are traded, and with a market capitalization listed over $4.5 trillion. This bell ringing is watched live by millions worldwide each day.

Mr. Ahmad was inducted into the highly coveted SBA Emerging Leaders program in 2015.
He is the recipient of the City University of New York’s First Asian-American Distinguished Alumni Award in recognition of his significant business success and many philanthropic endeavors.

In 2010, Mr. Ahmad was inducted into the Wall of Honor at the Grove School of Engineering, City College, City University of New York his alma mater. The Grove School was endowed by Andrew Grove, the founder of Intel, who is also a City College alumnus.

The honor is bestowed upon those who have made a significant financial and leadership contribution to the Grove School of Engineering.

In 2010, a leading community leader and benefactor, Mr. Ahmad has established the “Aziz Ahmad Leadership Lectures Series” at the CCNY, School of Engineering.

He is also the board member of Engineering Leadership Council at the Grove School of Engineering at CCNY.
