UTC Associates has a multi-year contract with MetTel to engineer and deploy IP/Optical backbone and access technologies with MetTel. UTC Associates built a MPLS based IP network and created a new service offering for hosted VoIP.

MetTel is a privately held, nationwide integrated communications provider serving telecom customers throughout the United States.UTC Associates built a MPLS based IP network and created a new service offering for hosted VoIP. We purchased and deployed Cisco, Nortel, Lucent-Alcatel routers and switches to support small to medium size businesses in the tri-state area. Following successful deployment of the infrastructure, MetTel engaged UTC to assist in the development and implementation of IT Managed Services. This project is ongoing and UTC has provided MetTel with a full range of IT services, including work to design, build, deploy and operate software applications, and services to support network infrastructure and large databases. This is an active customer and we have resources onsite regularly.
